Latitude.sh supports password authentication. This authentication method is provided with an additional layer of security and allows fast and secure access to Latitude.sh resources.

  1. Access your profile page on the Latitude.sh dashboard.
  2. Create a password if you haven’t set one yet.
  3. If you already have a password, but password authentication was disabled, toggle on “Enable authentication with password”. You’ll be able to use the last password set to log in.

Logging in with Password

Once your password is set and authentication is enabled:
  • Go to the login screen and enter your email.
  • If password authentication is active, the password field will appear automatically.

Recovering Your Password

If you forget your password, it can be recovered.
  1. On the login screen, enter your email.
  2. When the password field appears, click “Reset password”.
  3. Enter the six-digit code sent to your email.
  4. You’ll be authenticated and redirected to set a new password.

Updating and Disabling Password

You can manage your password settings from the profile page:
  • To update your password: enter the current password and set a new one. If MFA is enabled, you’ll be prompted to verify.
  • To disable password authentication: toggle off “Enable authentication with password”. MFA will be required if enabled. Once disabled, password authentication will no longer be available for your account.
