NetworkIntroducing Global Gateway
We're excited to announce a low-latency, high-capacity global interconnect across Latitude.sh sites.
Global Gateway is an always-on private connection with up to 400 Gbps of dedicated bandwidth between our data centers, eliminating the need for public IP addresses and exposure to external carriers.
All your internal traffic will now be automatically routed through this dedicated fiber path, rather than the public internet, ensuring greater reliability and lower latency for your applications.
We are rolling it out in select locations and will gradually expand across all regions. Here's the latency you can expect between currently active sites:
Ashburn ↔ NYC: 8ms
Ashburn ↔ Dallas: 36ms
NYC ↔ Frankfurt: 81ms
The product is active by default for all customers, and on-demand dedicated connections are coming soon:
Shared Global Gateway: When running distributed workloads across multiple locations, we automatically route traffic through our dedicated fiber via your server's public interface, no setup required.
Dedicated Global Gateway: On-demand connection with guaranteed bandwidth, complete privacy, and the ability to use your own private RFC1918 prefixes. You will soon be able to request it directly through our portal, so stay tuned.
