This functionality is only available for on-demand projects.
The right server for your needs might not always be available in the region you need them. With Capacity Reservations you can see which servers will be added to the fleet and when they will be available, reserving them to ensure they will be added to your account as soon as capacity is available.

How to reserve

Reserve server capacity

Go to Reservations from Bare metal menu in the sidebar. Select the desired server and quantity, then proceed to checkout.
  • The amount charged corresponds to the monthly cost of the chosen server.
  • The amount paid is converted in credits when the server is added to your project.
  • The reservation is an advance payment for one month of server usage. After the first month, if the server remains in the project, regular charges will apply.
Pro-tip: if you can’t find the server you are looking for, go to the Server deployment page and join the waitlist to get notified.

Tracking the reservation

After making a reservation, you can track the delivery status on the capacity reservations page of your project.

Estimated delivery date

The reservation will show the estimated date the server is expected to be available for use. However, this date may vary due to external factors such as natural disasters, political events, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any changes to the delivery date will be updated in the reservation. For additional information, you can submit a support ticket.

Refunds and cancellations

Reservation payments are non-refundable. If the reserved server is removed before a full month of usage, pro-rated credits will be applied to the next invoice.
