High-Performance Object Storage now runs on VAST Storage technology, delivering consistent throughput for AI and latency-sensitive workloads.

Object Storage now supports Bucket Versioning, Object Lock, and multiple buckets:
- Recover previous versions of objects with Bucket Versioning
- Protect objects from deletion or modification with Object Lock
- Create multiple buckets for different workloads and environments
Versioning and Object Lock can be configured during bucket creation.
Backups: Create on-demand backups of a VM's disk and restore them into a new instance. Backups run in the background without affecting the running VM.
Resizing: Resize a VM to a larger plan from the dashboard or via the API, scaling vCPUs, RAM, and disk capacity together. Resizing is upgrade-only and briefly powers off the instance during migration.
CLI Update: VMs, K8s, Firewalls and more
About 60 new commands bring now to the terminal what used to live only in the dashboard and API. Here are the main ones:
- Virtual machines: create, list, power on/off, reboot, and delete VMs. Use --wait to block until the VM is running.
- Kubernetes: create and manage clusters and download the kubeconfig with a single command.
- Firewalls and Elastic IPs: manage rules, assign to servers, and administer elastic IPs end to end.
- Storage: create S3-compatible buckets and manage filesystems.
- SSH keys and user data: full management at the team and project level, including cloud-init scripts.
- Server actions: power on/off, reboot, rescue mode, and lock/unlock with real-time status tracking.
All commands support JSON, YAML, and CSV output; JMESPath filtering via --query; and configurable pagination. Everything you need to drop it into your CI/CD pipeline.

The Latitude.sh MCP server is now hosted at mcp.latitude.sh. For most clients there's nothing to install or run locally, just point your MCP client at the hosted URL and connect.
Pick the connection mode your client supports:

You can now define per-group RAID configuration at deploy time. Instead of applying a single RAID level to all disks, assign disks into groups with independent roles and RAID levels.
Three roles are supported: os, storage, and raw. With RAID-0 and RAID-1 available per group.
You can now retrieve real-time performance data for your virtual machines. Supported metrics: cpu, memory, network and disk. Use the range parameter to query over 5m to 24h windows.
Results are cached and updated continuously.
You can now use User Data scripts when deploying virtual machines to automate initialization tasks like package installation, configuration, and bootstrapping from the moment your VM boots up.
Object Storage is now available on the platform. S3-compatible, store and retrieve any amount of data using standard S3 APIs and the tools you already know.
