# Resource Limits

View your team's current usage and quotas across all resources. If you need more capacity, you can request a quota increase.

To view resource limits, go to **Usage & billing** > **Resource quotas**.

## Understanding resource limits

Your team has limits on the following resources:

* **Bare Metal**: Total number of bare metal servers
* **Bare Metal GPU**: Total number of GPU bare metal servers
* **Virtual Machines GPU**: Total number of GPU virtual machine instances
* **Databases**: Total number of managed databases
* **Filesystem**: Total storage capacity in TB
* **Block Storage**: Total block storage capacity in TB

Each resource shows:

* **Current usage**: Resources or capacity currently in use across all projects
* **Limit**: Maximum allowed quota (shown as ∞ for unlimited resources)
* **Usage gauge**: Visual indicator of usage as a percentage of your limit

## Requesting a quota increase

    Go to **Usage & billing** > **Resource quotas**.

  <Step title="Request increase">
    Click **Request increase** next to the resource you need more capacity for.

    Resources marked "Not adjustable" can't be increased.

  <Step title="Fill in request details">
    The modal shows your current usage and limit with a visual gauge.

    * **New limit**: Enter the new quota. Pre-filled with a suggested value (one more than your current limit, or one more than your usage if over the limit).
    * **Business justification**: Explain why you need the increase.

    Click **Submit request**.

  <Step title="Approval">
    Your request is sent to the Latitude team for review. You'll be notified when it's approved or denied.

    Once approved, your quota updates automatically.
