# Setting up your account

You need an active account to begin using Latitude.sh. If you don't have one yet, follow these steps:

    Go to the [Latitude.sh sign-up page](https://www.latitude.sh/dashboard/signup) and enter your company email. You can also choose to continue with third-party authentication options like Google, GitHub, or [SAML SSO](/teams/sso). Click **Continue**.

  <Step title="Verify your email and complete profile">
    Enter the six-digit code sent to your email and click **Verify**. Then provide
    your name, create a password, and click **Continue**.

  <Step title="Set up Team and Project">
    [Create a Team](/teams/create-team) and click **Continue**. Finally, [Create a Project](/projects/create-project).
  </Step>

After completing the account setup, you'll be redirected to the [Latitude.sh dashboard](https://www.latitude.sh/dashboard/).
